Testimonials

Happy Wellness Aquatics Member:

“First time I was without pain.”

Satisfied Wellness Aquatics Participant:

“Carolee helps each of us in different ways. She knows what each of us needs and has the knowledge to understand what will help or hurt each of us. She makes us stronger, teaches us the correct way to do things, and challenges our minds each week.”

Rucker, Jane

“Great coaches/instructors, warm water, fun wellness classes. I always feel better leaving than when I walked in.”

McGinn, Brian

“My experience with Saguaro Aquatics Adaptive Aquatics group has been very positive. I had a stroke and find that the warm water helps me on many levels. I have been going since the beginning of the program. Carolee is very knowledgeable about aquatic exercise and the folks who attend our weekly sessions love her. Reyna is our lifeguard who is very attentive and friendly to our crowd. Karen keeps us informed and helped my understanding of the water heating process and how it works. Each crew member is responsible and polite. Thanks for the warm water!”

Podraza, Ron

“My wife and I use Saguaro Aquatics once per week. For 1 hour we use a lane for strength and balance improvement. The next hour I receive personal training from Carolee. From a previous injury, I have to learn to walk again. Carolee has many years’ experience as a therapist, and it shows. She has me do many movements to allow me to walk in the water unaided. She also has stretching movements to increase flexibility. She is just a wonderful person with a great personality and is easily understood. I have great confidence in her ability to help me regain my walking strength and balance. The other staff we have had help us are Karen, who helped us get enrolled at the facility. She is always pleasant and able to answer any of our questions. Another outstanding member is Reyna, who is the lifeguard. She is ever watchful and helps me into the pool with the chair machine. She also brings water exercise equipment to use as needed. Another great help is that she unhooks the lane markers so we needn’t have to go beneath them in the water. The facility is just great. The temperature is 91 degrees and the pool is filled with salt water. Very comfortable. There are also showers to rinse off after being in the pool. There are many young children learning to swim there, and it is a joy to watch and hear them.”

Latte, Mocha

“I recently joined Aqua Aerobics, and it was lovely! The people there are really nice and accepting. They really understand what it means to not be judgmental toward people. This is because we’re all here working on ourselves together. The staff that I typically interact with are Laurie, the instructor; Karen, at the front desk; and Jess, the lifeguard. All of them are amazing and have been really helpful toward my goals, and it is always a delight to interact with them!”

Kara W.

“I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience here! I’ve been doing lap swim every week for over a year and have loved it, not just because I enjoy swimming, but also because the staff here are awesome. Reyna and Max are great lifeguards and are always willing to help, whether it be with equipment, getting in and out of the pool for those with disabilities, and anything else that’s needed. When there are classes going on, it seems like everyone is having a fun time, and Ashley and Sammy seem like great teachers who the kids love. Overall, I really enjoy swimming here and look forward to coming every week!”
